Prairie View tops Chandler in May Madness basketball event at Goshen

 

GOSHEN — Prairie View defeated Chandler 41-28 in the title game of the May Madness fifth-grade Goshen boys basketball tourney on Friday, May 29.

Drew Hogan led Prairie View with 18 points. Anders Revoir added 10. Roman Schrock paced Chandler with 14 points.

In the third-place game Waterford downed Parkside 27-21. Deacon Hill had 11 points and Noah Johnson 10 for Waterford, while Tommy Claxton scored eight for Parkside.

In other consolations, Waterford defeated Goshen 19-17 and Parkside topped Chamberlain 23-7. Top scorers in those games included Jackson Gaby with 13 for Waterford, Jake Moyer with 12 for Parkside, Claxton 10 for Parkside and Ashton Craw eight for West Goshen.
