Short-Game Clinic: A series of short-game clinics for adult golfers will be conducted at Old Orchard Golf Course on May 6, May 13, 20 and 27. The sessions will be conducted by Tom Conway, a PGA teaching pro. and will run from 6-7 p.m. and costs $10. Middlebury Family Fun 5k: The seventh annual Family Fun 5k Walk/Run will take off Saturday, May 14. The cost is $14 for runners age 12 and older, $9 for 12-and-under. Registration begins at 8 a.m. at Middlebury Elementary School with the race at 9 a.m. There will be fun bounce houses for children and live music by “Blindfish” during the day. Concord Youth Soccer: The league is accepting registrations through May 31 for pre-K (age 4 by Aug. 1) through 12th grade. Players from all area schools are welcome. The season begins Aug. 1. Individuals may register online at concordyouthsoccer.com or at the fields on May 7 (9 a.m. to noon) or May 17 (6 to 8 p.m.). Forms are also available at the Dunlap Library.
Boys & Girls Club Goshen League: The Boys & Girls Club of Elkhart County-Goshen Club is again running the Goshen Neighborhood Basketball League. Students and 2016 graduates ages 13-18 of all skill levels are eligible. A $15 club membership is required. Games are on Tuesday and Thursday evenings June 7 to July 21 at Rogers Park in Goshen.
