SOUTH BEND — As Indiana All-Stars in waiting are prone to do, Blake Wesley drove his team to victory at the end, yet it was another player that enabled South Bend Riley to cross a shaky bridge early and remain on that path.

With Wesley pouring in 20 of his team’s 24 fourth-quarter points on his way to 33 overall, and with fellow senior Phil Robles popping off the bench to score 22 points and coax two charging fouls, the Wildcats rallied, then held off Elkhart for a 67-62 Northern Indiana Conference boys basketball win Friday night at Algie Oldham Gym.
