Smith Brothers

Brothers Sam (in black) and Hank Smith, here playing against each other last winter at North Side Gym, each had a successful basketball season end early do to the pandemic. Sam was playing for Northridge, while Hank was playing for Elkhart Memorial.

Brothers Hank and Sam Smith fire up shots daily inside a barn at their home in Bristol.

There’s no pressure because they’re passionate about the game of basketball.

While working at Northridge Middle School a few years ago, my job was to make sure the gym was back in shape before Monday AM! After home games Northridge kids and parents congregate on the gym floor! Amazing! Isn't it? When in high school at Elkhart High you would be hung out to dry if you hit that North Side Gym floor with street shoes on! Anyway well after game was over, there were always little red head kids sinking 3s. And what do you think their names were?
