LAGRANGE — Junior Sarah Shank tossed a one hitter and Chloe Dell had three hits and drove in two, as Fairfield advance to the title game of the Class 3A Lakeland Sectional by beating West Noble 8-0 in Tuesday.

The Falcons grabbed a 2-0 lead in the top of the first inning and cruised to the victory over their Northeast Corner Conference rivals.

Fairfield will face Lakeland in the title game on Thursday, as the Lakers advanced with a 4-1 win over Wawasee. Game time is 5:30 p.m.

The Falcons hit three homes in the game, by Dell, Brooke Sanchez and Bobbie Freese. Sanchez had three RBIs in the game. Meanwhile, Shank struck out 12 in the game and allowed just the one hit.
