Girls Soccer: Penn's Kristina Lynch named All-American

Penn junior Kristina Lynch was again named first-team All-American on Monday by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.

Lynch, who helped lead the Kingsmen to the Class 2A state title in October, was named to the first team for the second straight season. The Florida State commit led the state in scoring and is already Penn's all-time leader in goals and points.

Players on the NSCAA All-America teams will be formally acknowledged for their accomplisments at the NSCAA luncheon in in January in Los Angeles.

Penn sophomore Brooke VanDyck was named to the NSCAA All-Region team.
