MUNCIE — After leading the Ball State men's basketball team to a season-opening win, Concord High School graduate Franko House has been named the Mid-American Conference West Division Player of the Week.

In the Cardinals' 85-64 victory over Saint Louis last week, House matched his career high with 23 points, hitting 9-of-12 from the field, including all four of his 3-point shots. House had never hit more than two 3-pointers in a game, a figure he matched in the first four minutes.

The senior added six rebounds and three assists, and scored Ball State's first eight points of the game. He played just 25 minutes.
