MIDDLEBURY — NorthWood’s Raasch brothers lived up to their name, causing Northridge a constantly uncomfortable itch as the Class 3A No. 2-ranked Panthers, just like some of their school gear says, scratched and clawed for a 51-46 Northern Lakes Conference boys basketball win over the Raiders on Friday night at the near-full Middlebury Madhouse.

With NorthWood leading 49-46 and Northridge possessing the ball, senior Ian Raasch intercepted a long Raider pass at about five seconds left to help seal the outcome and put a fitting bow on the 6-foot-6 senior’s polished performance.
