NorthWood baseball standout Drew Minnich signs with Cedarville

NAPPANEE — NorthWood High School baseball standout Drew Minnich has signed a letter of intent to continue his academic and playing careers at Cedarville University in Ohio.

Minnich has helped lead the Panther baseball team to three straight sectional championships and was an All-Northern Lakes Conference performer in 2016. He won the team's pitching and most improved awards.

Also a two-way starter on the semistate-bound NorthWood football team, Minnich was named an Indiana Football Coaches Association Junior All-Stater in 2015 and was an all-conference selection this year.

A four-year NorthWood Scholar Athlete, Minnich has a 4.0 GPA.

Cedarville is an NCAA Division II program. The Yellow Jackets compete in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference.
