Hahn art

Former Concord coach Jim Hahn, here coaching the Minutemen during the 1988 season, passed away Thursday at the age of 64.

ELKHART — Jim Hahn’s death stung in an achingly familiar manner for Bill Mutch, not just because of some chillingly similar circumstances, but because of his love for Hahn.

“Jim’s really the one who got me through that entire period,” Mutch said Friday, reflecting on the passing of his own father 33 years earlier.

Jim was an Icon to the community, and provided us with many great moments in HS sports ... But beyond that.... He was a great person and human being. RIP
