Magic players, compelling coaches stir NorthWood

Elkhart Truth photo/Russ DraperNorthWood head coach Nate Andrews gets the Panther offense fired up to take the field in first quarter at Andrews Field as they square off with the Warsaw Tigers on Friday, Oct. 7, 2016, in Nappanee.

As NorthWood assistant coach Dave Wilson bellowed to all the gathered, kneeling, steadfastly listening Panthers, and many of their fans, moments after last Friday’s 61-24 vaporizing of the Warsaw Tigers at Andrews Field, the magic is always in the players.

Few will argue that, but it doesn’t mean at least some of the compelling vignettes from a game aren’t sometimes in the coaches.
