DUNLAP — Between the rain-accompanied mud bog that Jake Field became, the presence of star quarterback Justin Fisher for Mishawaka and an overpowering performance from Cavemen junior fullback Chase Gooden, it was hard to find a condition that was right for Concord to repeats its regular-season victory Friday night.

The host Minutemen didn’t, committing three turnovers along the way and falling 35-7 against Mishawaka in a Class 5A sectional semifinal to end a mostly glorious season.
