I never met Marine Sgt. Jeremy R. McQueary, but anyone traveling on S.R. 46 heading into Nashville, Indiana, crosses a bridge named in his honor.

On Feb. 18, 2010, while on combat support mission in Helmand Province in Afghanistan, McQueary was killed by an improvised explosive device in the midst of a war that at that point had been going on for nine years.

No comments on the fact that Biden was told not to delay the withdrawal of troops because it is now the middle of the fighting season when the Taliban are at their strongest. He wanted a photo opportunity on Sept 11 by bringing the troops home then. What a tragic mistake.

Also not much mention of the billions of dollars of high tech weapons and equipment left behind. It did not hav to be this way and our allies are watching in horror while our enemies laugh their butts off. Yet Mr Biden claims the US is back and respected on the world stage. That comment did not age well. But I’m sure the new woke, CRT trained troops will be a much better.

Thank you to all our veterans who have to sit and watch Biden fiddle while Kabul burns.
