Forty-one years ago, as the U.S. reeled from oil shocks and long lines of cars just to get gas, the conservative tabloid New York Post editorialized: “Independence Day, 1979 the American paradox is bleakly apparent. As a nation, we appear to have become steadily more dependent on forces seemingly beyond our control, losing confidence in our ability to master events, uncertain of our direction.”

Out on the left coast, the Los Angeles Times observed: “The United States is now a victim of a loss of nerve and will, wracked by indecision and groping for a glimpse of inspirational and innovative leadership.”

When Sean Hannity asked Trump a "softball question about his priorities for a 2nd term...this is his response... If there are ANY Trump supporters...can you please translate and explain why you are even Still considering this babbling baboon? My apologies to the baboon species...

Sean Hannity: (35:55)

Let’s talk about a second term. If you hear in 131 days from now, at some point in the night or early morning, we can now project Donald J. Trump has been reelected the 45th president of the United States. Let’s talk. What’s at stake in this election as you compare and contrast, and what is one of your top priority items for a second term?

Donald Trump: (36:17)

Well, one of the things that will be really great… You know, the word experience is still good. I always say talent is more important than experience. I’ve always said that, but the word experience is a very important word. It’s a very important meeting. I never did this before. I never slept over in Washington. I was in Washington, I think, 17 times. All of a sudden, I’m president of the United States. You know the story. I’m riding down Pennsylvania Avenue with our First Lady and I say, “This is great.”

Donald Trump: (36:43)

But I didn’t know very many people in Washington, it wasn’t my thing. I was from Manhattan from New York. Now I know everybody, and I have great people in the administration. You make some mistakes. An idiot like Bolton, all he wanted to do is drop bombs on everybody. You don’t have to drop bums on everybody. You don’t have to kill people.

HUH????

Ya know sidearm! Joe has answers for everything. Except he either knows not of what he speaks or he just plain lies! He fails to realize that if socialism takes over, he will be nothing but a serf. Just like the rest of us! Socialism worked out fine for a miniscule percentage. Ask Russian citizens! Ask Nicaraguans! Ask Cubans! Ask Venezuelans! Socialism...the last stop before COMMUNISM!

The last really great leader we had before Mr Trump was Ronald Reagan. Your choice is freedom or submission to socialism and special interests. There really is no choice for Americans who love their country, respect law and order and favor capitalism over socialism. Trump 2020.

I don’t think you know what socialism means...Reagan? Ha..that’s funny..thanks I needed that...still waiting for that “trickle down” economics thing to work...and he all but botched the aids crisis..but at least Reagan didn't cheat on his wife with an adult star actress....stormy...lie about it, then pay her off, then lie about it again..Reagan also challenged Russia..unlike trump who accepted their help for the election, and even after 5 months of being briefed about Russia paying a bounty for Americans, he has yet to punish or even criticize Russia about it...at least with Reagan we knew Russia was the enemy..with trump, we don’t and for all we can tell is in his pocketbook....oh yeah, still waiting for the virus to magically disappear like he said it would...and still waiting for Mexico to build the wall...but yeah, good luck on the trump thing...that will work out well..ha,ha,ha

Oh, I know what socialism means Joe. I think you do also and won’t admit it because you are a left wing zealot who can’t wait to watch the wealthy get punished for being successful. You’re that kind of guy who wasn’t quite as successful as you thought you would be and nobody should have more than you.

What's really sad is that both Biden and Trump are the best we have to nominate..... In the history of REALLY great leaders this country has had..... Neither one of them pass Muster....Neither one will unite this country, and each brings it own set of issues to the office when elected....
