Support schools with 'yes' vote

The Elkhart Community School town halls on the referendum were an impressive reminder of the type of learning opportunities in an in-person classroom: teacher/Dr. Steve Thalheimer, superintendent, presented the necessary facts for informed referendum decision-making; the class/audience asked questions and shared various perspectives followed by some discussion; and as often happens in such a setting, a clearer understanding of the underlying issue — budget restrictions and needs — were realized.
