People's Forum: Thanks for making downtown Elkhart more accessible

 

On April 21, I attempted to walk across Main Street via the crosswalk and light. A red Bronco came barrelling around the corner, knocking me to the ground. He did not stop.

I didn’t know how I was going to get up until a kind man jumped out of his car to help me. Then a lady named Linda called the police and stayed with me until the police and ambulance arrived.

You gave me great comfort. To these wonderful people, I give a big thank you.
