People's Forum: Thanks for making downtown Elkhart more accessible

 

Well, it is cemetery vandalism season again. A number of years ago, one of my sons made a lovely, wooden cross with his dad’s name and dates. It was nice that it lasted for the years it did. I don’t know if cemetery workers took it (although it had been there a number of years) or if was kids on a spree.

I hope it gave enjoyment to whomever took it. We all need to learn to put only inexpensive things out where they can be stolen, which includes the Prairie Street Cemetery. Sad.
