BRISTOL — Kimmy M. Ross, 52, of Bristol, passed away Monday, June 3, 2019, at his home.
He was born Nov. 19, 1966, in Richmond, Indiana, to Harold Jones and Frances Simpson (Ross).
On Sept. 20, 2014, in Elkhart, he married Amanda G. Faust. She survives along with his two daughters, Cortney (Maurice) Campbell of Mishawaka and Cassie Ross of Elkhart; two stepdaughters, Candice (Matt) Bailey of Fort Wayne and Karissa (Michael) Carr of Elkhart; and 11 grandchildren.
Also surviving are his mother, Francis K. Ross and his adopted father , Marvin Ross of Las Vegas, Nevada; his biological father, Harold Jones of Lafollette, Tennessee; two sisters, Sherrie (Herbert) Ergle of Maiden, North Carolina and Belinda (Jimmy) Schroeder of Edwardsburg, Michigan; and a brother, Ryan Ross of Las Vegas.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Henry and Minnie Evelyn Simpson and Eldon and Lillian Jones.
Kimmy enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle, fishing and playing the electric guitar.
Kimmy worked for more than 17 years as a truck driver at Lippert Components.
A celebration of life service for Kimmy will be at 6 p.m. Friday June 7, at the Portage Road General Baptist Church, 1765 Portage Road, Niles, Michigan 49120.
Pastor Lonnie Rhoades will preside.
Elkhart Cremation services is entrusted with his care.
Memorial contributions may be given to the family to help defray expenses.
