WAKARUSA — Kenneth Wayne Perry, 84, Wakarusa, died at 3:13 p.m. Wednesday, June 5, 2019, at the Center for Hospice, Elkhart.

He was born Oct. 23, 1934, in Elkhart County, to Lee and Mary (Seitz) Perry.

On July 27, 1956, he married Ardith B. (Culp) Perry and she died Sept. 21, 1996. Later on Jan. 23, 1997, he married Shirley L. (Blosser) Hahn Perry and she died Oct. 13, 2011.

Surviving are his children, Jim (Deb) Perry of Noblesville, Tom (Gina) Perry of Wakarusa, Gayle Perry of Mishawaka, Kim Perry of Wakarusa; grandchildren Andrea and Natalie; great-grandchildren Clara and Eleanor; sister Mabel (Joyce) Culp of  Florida; stepchildren Michael (Brenda) Hahn of Goshen, Dennis (Margaret) Hahn of Goshen, Sue (Scott) Buss of Wakarusa, Nancy (Darrell) Boettger of Lake Wales, Florida, Cathy (David) Fox of Wakarusa; stepgrandchildren Ashley, Kayla, Chelsea, Courtney, Mike, Tim and Andy; and stepgreat-grandchildren Ivy, Adaline, Michael and Andrew.

Preceding him in death were his parents, first wife, Ardith; second wife, Shirley; brother Robert Perry; and sisters Irene Tavernier, Virginia Snell and Evelyn Mikel.

Kenneth attended Wakarusa High School and was a member of Baugo Church of the Brethren, Wakarusa.

He worked as a semi-truck driver for Plumrose and was a cooker for Port-A-Pit.

Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Sunday, June 9, at Rieth-Rohrer-Ehret-Lienhart Funeral Home, 117 W. Waterford St., Wakarusa and one hour prior to the 10 a.m. Monday, June 10, service at Baugo Church of the Brethren, Wakarusa.

Pastor David Stackhouse will officiate.

Burial will follow in Olive (West) Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be directed to the Baugo Church of the Brethren.
