WAKARUSA — When school came to an abrupt end in March amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the education industry was forced to move to remote learning, creating challenges for teachers, parents and students alike.

With three kids of her own, Anni Boocher, a kindergarten teacher at Wakarusa Elementary School, was trying to balance life as a teacher and a mom.
