WAKARUSA — A Wakarusa man was injured in a crash caused by poor weather conditions Friday near S.R. 19.

Moses Stalter, 19, was driving a 2004 Ford Ranger pickup truck during the snow fall around 10 a.m., according to a report from the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Office. He was driving west on C.R. 46 west of S.R. 19 when he lost control of the vehicle, crossed the center line and ran off the south side of the road. Stalter’s truck struck a tree on the passenger’s side.
