GOSHEN — A Claypool man serving time on federal charges has received a 12-year sentence for his role in a plot to rob a man locally.

Seth Allen, 31, pleaded guilty in August to conspiracy to commit robbery while armed with a deadly weapon, a Level 3 felony. He and another man were arrested in March 2018 after they were found waiting in a car outside a Walmart near Osceola along with multiple weapons, including a handgun.
