ELKHART — Officers of the Elkhart City Police Department are asking the public for help in identifying subjects accused of stealing a trash compactor.

Officers were dispatched at 4:13 p.m. May 29 to Clear vision, 3401 C.R. 6 East, in regard to a theft report.

Sometimes between 7 p.m. May 24 and noon May 29, two unknown people took the company’s trash compactor, police said. 

Surveillance footage show a male coming onto the property in a truck with a trailer, followed by a male and a female on a motorcycle.

Detective Casey Claeys is asking for assistance identifying the subjects in the photos.
