ELKHART — A collision about 2 miles east of Elkhart city limits resulted in a hospital visit for one driver Tuesday morning.

Jensine Tricarcio, 31, of Elkhart, was traveling east on Old Hwy. 20, west of Pine Arbor Drive, around 7:30 a.m. when a 2002 Acura MDX, driven by Kalie Henderson, 18, of Middlebury, went left of center and collided with Tricarcio’s 2015 Kia Optima.

The side-swipe collision resulted in a citation for Henderson, as well as an abrasion to her ankle, and complaint of neck and knee pain for Tricarcio, who was brought to Elkhart General Hospital for treatment.
