ELKHART — A man was shot and killed around 7:30 p.m. Saturday at Walnut Trail Apartments in Elkhart, according to the Elkhart Police Department.

At 7:29 p.m., officers were dispatched to 1823 Filber Way for a fight in the parking lot.  As officers responded, multiple calls came in reporting sounds of gunfire.

When the officers arrived they found the deceased man behind the building. He has been identified as Antonio Williams, 23, of Elkhart.

Evidence technicians and detectives from the Elkhart County Homicide Unit were called to the scene to conduct an investigation into the death.

A second man with gunshot wounds was taken to the hospital, but his wounds appeared to be non-life threatening, according to police.

Yep, I agree with you on that but I don't think those two stand a snowballs chance in hades of keeping their jobs and will probably be convicted on the assault charges.

And that's exactly what the officers deserve..

Why is the Truth hiding any reference to the two EPD officers charged with assaulting their prisoner?
