GOSHEN — A rear-end collision resulted in a spin out and the hospitalization of a Millersburg man Monday morning.
According to the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department, the crash occurred around 4:50 a.m. at the intersection of S.R. 13 and C.R. 34.
A news release from the agency said a 2007 Chevrolet Impala driven by Marvin Retcher, 20, of Fremont, was following too closely behind a 1998 Jeep Wrangler driven by Keven Rockenbaugh, 45, of Millersburg.
Retcher had been traveling north on S.R. 13, approaching the intersection at C.R. 34 where Rockenbaugh was stopped, awaiting a left turn. Retcher rear-ended the Wrangler causing it to spin and eject Rockenbaugh from the vehicle.
Rockenbaugh was transported to Goshen Hospital from the scene for further medical evaluation, according to police.
