ELKHART — Ways school corporations are addressing teacher shortages and the future of education were among topics discussed Thursday morning at a “Breakfast with Superintendents” forum.

A panel of three superintendents from school corporations in Elkhart County fielded questions aimed at providing updates on their school systems to an audience of about 80. It was the first forum of its kind sponsored by the Education/Career Development Council of the Greater Elkhart Chamber of Commerce and was held at the Indiana University South Bend Elkhart Center.
