ELKHART — With restrictions still in effect amid the coronavirus pandemic, many local school districts are preparing for the possibility of virtual summer school as the school year nears an end.

All Indiana schools are required to either show completion of 160 school days this academic year – down from the typical 180 days – or 20 instructional days between April 2 and June 30.
