ELKHART — Students at Jimtown Elementary School returned to school on Thursday to a classroom setting that looked much like it did in the pre-pandemic years; a look school officials hope to maintain throughout the school year.

The morning kicked off with students being greeted by school staff with a high five or a hug as they walked into the building, many holding their parent’s hands, to locate their new classroom.
