ELKHART — Democratic candidate Amanda Qualls, a Goshen school board member, is challenging Republican incumbent Christy Stutzman for the District 49 House seat in the Nov. 3 election.
Qualls, 33, lives in Goshen and is employed as the human resources director at Win the Era. She was appointed to the Goshen school board in June 2018 to fill a vacancy on the at-large seat and ran again in November of that year winning to serve her own term. She is married to Courtney Robert Collins. She has a stepson, Bradyn Collins, 14.
