GOSHEN — Icy conditions Tuesday morning were the cause of one accident north of Goshen.

About 9:25 a.m., a the vehicle driven by Sandra Fireoved, 66, of Elkhart, was heading southbound on County Road 18 north of El Dorado Drive, according to police.

Fireoved lost control of the 2014 Honda CRV and over-corrected and went left of the center line running off the east shoulder of C. R. 18, police said.

The vehicle’s front bumper collided with a tree.

Fireoved was transported by Jefferson Township EMS to Goshen Hospital for a left ankle and foot injury and a complaint of body pain on her left side.
