SOUTH BEND — A Goshen man has been indicted on eight counts of fraud for an investment scheme that took millions of dollars from dozens of investors, including the Amish.

Earl D. Miller, 40, was charged by indictment with six counts of wire fraud, one count of securities fraud and one count of bankruptcy fraud, U.S. District Attorney for Northern Indiana Thomas Kirsch said. Documents in the case allege that the former real estate investor started raising money for a new private investment firm named 5 Star Capital in 2012.
