ELKHART — National health recommendations say children need 60 minutes of exercise daily, but Jamison Czarnecki argues that’s not happening locally.

“We know now more than ever that with COVID the time for parks cannot be more important,” said Czarnecki, Elkhart’s Parks and Recreation superintendent. “So, how do we engage those kids and make them more active? By giving them spaces they can enjoy and take pride in to get them here.”

Superintendent THalheimer is no managing the school system. He has been in front of the media asking for more tax money by referendum. If he were in the schools and managing up maybe we would see better performance. Notice they also took kids away from learning to push the photo, again not education by a show.
