Work obligations may not agree with student schedules when schools in Elkhart County reopen next week with a mix of remote and classroom instruction.

ELKHART — School will look different in the fall, and so will child care facilities as they try to accommodate local school corporations during unprecedented challenges brought by the COVID-19 pandemic.

All seven public school corporations in Elkhart County are planning on offering in-person and online options when schools reopen next week. But child care remains a top concern for many teachers and parents alike where their work obligations may not agree with their students’ school schedule.
