Junior and teen members from a Boys and Girls Club get lessons from workers at Lake City Bank at the Reality Store.

ELKHART — For many children, places for activities and to interact with peers have been sparse since schools closed amid the coronavirus outbreak in March, but the Boys and Girls Clubs of Elkhart County and KidsCare are seeking to fill that void starting this month.

Clubs in Elkhart, Goshen and Nappanee are set to reopen the week of June 15. Each club will be limited to 100 members with priority given to the children of first responders and health care workers. The program will run through the first week of August.
