GOSHEN — Bond has been set at $5 million for an Elkhart man facing charges as part of an October torture-murder case.

Matthew Murzynski, 24, is charged with robbery resulting in serious injury, a Level 2 felony, and related crimes in connection with the confinement and murder of Kimberly Dyer on Oct. 21. He is not charged directly with the killing of the 31-year-old Columbia City woman, but police believe he was involved in the confinement and robbery at a residence on Old Orchard Lane on the east side of Elkhart, which also injured 32-year-old Robert Porter, of Sturgis, Michigan.
