ELKHART — Whether full-time or part-time, students in the Elkhart area will return to school remotely in some form this fall, and district officials say the instruction will be more rigorous and engaging than it was in the spring.

All seven of Elkhart County’s public school corporations plan on resuming school on their scheduled date in August and will be offering both in-person and online classes as part of their reopening plans.
