MIDDLEBURY — Police are asking for the public’s help as they investigate the theft of two travel trailers from The Outpost RV in Middlebury at 7:52 p.m. Friday, Feb. 8.

According to the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Office, a white crew-cab pickup truck with black fender flairs and a black running bar with black protective coating on the doors, and a green colored crew-cab with top and side marker lights entered the lot in the 57000 block of C.R. 37, police said.

The operators of the trucks hooked onto white 2019 Forest River Alpha Wolf travel trailers, and removed them from the premises, police said.

The Elkhart County Sheriff’s Office is requesting assistance in identifying the people involved. Anyone with information regarding the trucks or operators of the trucks, can contact the Sheriff’s Office by calling 574-891-2341.
