Elkhart’s Lerner Theatre was closed for most of 2020, but officials hope to reopen with limited capacity in May.

ELKHART — The Lerner Theatre – which closed in March, reopened in October and closed again in November – is planning to bring back shows in May.

In a meeting last week that included Lerner Executive Director Michelle Frank, Elkhart County Health Officer Dr. Bethany Wait and Mayor Rod Roberson, among others, a plan to safely reopen the theater was discussed, Frank said.
