GOSHEN — Business owner Joanna King was selected Tuesday by Republican precinct committeemen to replace former state Rep. Christy Stutzman, R-Middlebury, to represent District 49 in the Indiana House.

King was endorsed by Stutzman as well as U.S. Rep. Jacki Walorski, R-Jimtown. Stutzman asked the precinct committeemen to make a strategic decision and show boldness by selecting King, whom she called “solidly conservative.”
