Goshen City Engineer Josh Corwin presents structure alternatives to the Goshen Redevelopment Commission Tuesday.

GOSHEN — The Madison Street bridge replacement project is moving ahead this year after planners chose a nearly $980,000 structure type.

The estimated $978,360 structure is described as a three-span continuous reinforced concrete slab. It was one of three options presented by DLZ Corp. for the bridge, which gives access to the northwest end of the Millrace Canal.
