GOSHEN — The mayor of Goshen expressed optimism ahead of council’s consideration of a nearly $51 million budget for 2021, a year when the fiscal impact of the pandemic on local governments will become more clear.

Goshen Common Council was set to give first reading to the 2021 budget Tuesday. The proposal includes $37.49 million in the 14 funds overseen by the Indiana Department of Local Government Finance and another $13.4 million in the 19 home-ruled funds.
