GOSHEN — A judge expressed shock and relatives were dismayed when Winston Corbett’s sentencing for the murder of James Miller was unexpectedly postponed.

Corbett, 25, was convicted on Nov. 12 of killing the Goshen College professor following a two-week jury trial. He was accused of killing Miller and attempting to kill wife Linda Miller during a home invasion in October 2011.
