ELKHART — Two United Way organizations are merging next year, bringing together efforts in Elkhart, LaGrange and Noble counties.

Organization leaders on Wednesday announced the merger, which takes effect Jan. 1 to create Crossroads United Way. It follows the joining of Elkhart and LaGrange counties into a single organization one year earlier.
