GOSHEN — County health officials are talking about the challenges of contact tracing as local cases of COVID-19 climb above 1,000.

In early May, the Indiana State Department of Health centralized the process of questioning individuals who have tested positive to find out who else they’ve been in contact with. It’s a task that local health departments previously were in charge of.
