GOSHEN — A Syracuse RV maker is once again at risk of losing its tax break from the county.

Elkhart County Council members postponed a decision on continuing economic incentives for Travel Lite RV after remarking on the wages the company reported paying. The company’s compliance forms were considered this month along with those of several other businesses that have received tax abatements from the county.

They threaten, but never do remove the abatement. I know many companies that didn't get to anywhere near the staffing or equipment levels promised. They never checked back, and the full abatement went thru...
