GOSHEN — Local leaders are urging caution as Elkhart County moves into the next stage of lifting COVID-19 restrictions along with the rest of the state.
Gov. Eric Holcomb announced on Wednesday that Phase 4 of the reopening plan would start Friday. It includes allowing restaurants to open at 75 percent capacity while other gathering places like bars, theaters and museums can open at half capacity. Public playgrounds can reopen but festivals and parades are still prohibited.
