GOSHEN — The creation of an account for COVID-19-related expenses is expected to help Elkhart County keep track of the money and seek reimbursement.

The Elkhart County Board of Commissioners approved the $500,000 appropriation Monday. The money will be split among supplies, wages, professional services and capital items, said County Administrator Jeff Taylor, who presented the request.
