Elkhart County Commissioners Mike Yoder and Suzie Weirick listen to resident Michelle Bontrager as mask mandate opponents speak Tuesday.

GOSHEN — County officials say they sympathize with frustrations over the COVID-19 pandemic, though they have no more idea than anyone else when the public health crisis will be over.

A group of residents attended Tuesday’s meeting of the Elkhart County Board of Commissioners to again voice their displeasure with state and local mask mandates, among other things.
