ELKHART COUNTY _ The police calls for service provided by the Elkhart County Sheriff's Department included a number of thefts reported to police from Friday, July 27 through Sunday, July 30.
n On July 28 at approximately 2:40 a.m., a person broke out a window at a campground office and took an X-Box 360 and an HP laptop from the office, according to the calls for service log provided by the ECSD. The theft was reported by an employee at the campground, which is located in the 14000 block of State Route 120 in Bristol.
n Sometime between Friday and Saturday, an unknown subject forced open a sliding door to a storage building at a location in the 19900 block of County Road 8 in Bristol.
A 2010 Polaris Ranger XP ATV was reported missing from the unit.
n Four sets of sheets and 11 towels valued at $170 were taken from a locked RV parked inside a fenced-in area in the 22700 block of Old US 20 in Elkhart.
According to the police report, a door to the RV was allegedly pried open. The theft is believed to have occurred sometime between 4 p.m. on June 10 and 3:30 p.m. on July 28.
n A pressure washer was reported stolen from an unlocked, overhead garage sometime between June 15 and June 30, according to the property owner making the report.
n A resident in the 58100 block of Meadow Lark in Elkhart reported that the door to the residence was allegedly kicked open and items stolen from the residence sometime between 8 p.m. Saturday and 8:30 p.m. Sunday.
Among the items reported stolen were a toaster oven, Comcast router and a window air conditioner.
n A flatbed tilt trailer was taken from a location in the 28800 block of Old US 33 in Elkhart, overnight on Saturday. According to the resident, the suspect forced entry into a locked gate to remove the trailer.
The theft is believed to have occurred sometime between 4 p.m. Saturday, July 29 and 9:40 a.m. Sunday, July 30.
